The beautiful Breton male has been with us in our shelter for a few days now and we know that his life so far wasn’t beautiful. During the first few days, Cona completely withdraw into the back corner of his dog house. He completely frightened, wanted no contact with anyone. In the meantime, he has built up a really good trust in some of us and opens up more and more.

Cona is nine years old and was probably useful for hunting. In the meantime, he is really looking forward to walks with familiar people and is increasingly starting to demand cuddles and attention independently. He has no problem with other dogs.

Cona is a typical Breton – gently, affectionate (if he then trusts), human -related and simply lovely and friendly – but outside his nose comes into use 🙂. Nevertheless, even then also he is approachable.

Cona is a wonderful dog who has just had a lot of bad luck in his life and was never really allowed to live with a family. He deserves a loving family (which of course already is familiar with the nature of a Breton) that finally enables him to live a real life, takes him in as a full family member – but also gives him the time he needs , given his history.
