Now they have ended up at our animal shelter in Calvià 😢❤ … the Beagle DUSTA and the mongrel TOLA. In February, we introduced the two and their sad background story – and hoped to find a foster home on the island.

We were not successful and so now 13-year-old TOLA and 11-year-old DUSTA came to us at SOS Animal. Both dogs are very sweet and very affectionate – and very close to each other.

We believe that the two bitches should not be separated any more – but of course we must also have the chance to find a home for them. A permanent foster home would also be a good solution for the time being – in which case we would continue to provide medical care. Both bitches, but especially beagle DUSTA, already have some handicaps due to their age and so a home/foster home should preferably be at ground level and also have a garden.

Both bitches definitely weigh too much at the moment and definitely need to lose weight. Along with it, of course, the current movement restrictions will also decrease.

We will of course present both bitches in a more targeted way soon, but we want to introduce them now – so that we don’t lose a single day that they could perhaps spend with a family instead of in our kennel.

DUSTA and TOLA need a place of mercy in a family – so that they can enjoy their twilight years together and with dignity – for as long as possible 🙏…
