Pancho…
(October 2024)
And now it really is about time that we finally gave each of the two enchanting brothers their own platform. Pancho and his brother Pincho, both one year old, came to us together about two weeks ago. As the mother dog was poisoned, the owner thankfully decided to hand the dogs over to us so that they are safe and we can hopefully find them a really suitable home very soon.
The two get on very well – but we can place them in separate families without problems. The only important thing for us is that they can both leave the shelter at the same time.
Pancho is currently a bit “the leader” of the two brothers. He is a little bit more open, a little bit more curious, a little bit more exploratory and always a little bit “jealous” of his brother when he is cuddled alone 🙃. But Pancho is also incredibly affectionate, people-oriented and cuddly. He can spend hours just lying on your lap and enjoying the closeness and cuddles.
Pancho doesn’t really know much about life outside yet, as he has spent his entire life on a finca. So he also needs a family that lives in a quieter environment, preferably with a garden. Pancho needs to be introduced to everything step by step – but with the right people by his side, this won’t be a problem at all for this clever boy. Pancho hasn’t shown any problems with cats so far – he doesn’t seem to know them and simply ignores them. Other dogs don’t seem to be a problem at all. They sometimes unsettle him a little at first, as he hasn’t had much contact with other dogs. But even then his curiosity quickly wins out.
Pancho is a great young dog with lots of potential and is definitely suitable as a family dog. Of course, children should be able to behave in a dog-friendly manner. This is a prerequisite.
Pancho was neutered a week ago and he can now, of course by arrangement, also be met 🙂 … He could of course also leave for Germany.
