This six-year-old mixed-breed dog came to us at the animal shelter in Calvià at the end of January. For various reasons, her current family no longer wanted to keep her. Perla hasn’t really had much luck in her life so far. She has been with various families, ended up in a perera and was then adopted by her last family – until she was returned to us.

Perla is a really very friendly and lovable dog – also a family dog – who loves to play and is very active. She walks well on the lead and is really well oriented towards her owner. She has no problem with most other dogs – but here, too, it always depends on the mutual chemistry and, of course, the stress level.

She has lived with a family with children for the last year and things have always worked out really well. A few months ago there was a “minor” incident, but it wasn’t Perla’s fault. The dog simply reacted in a “dog-friendly” way at that moment. So now she’s here with us – waiting for her new chance.

And this should definitely be forever. No one has ever given her a real, well-considered and responsible chance. And yet this great and beautiful dog is still open and full of trust in people.

We would like Perla to go to people who are already experienced with dogs, who live in a quieter environment, who definitely have enough time for her and who will naturally take her in as a full member of the family. Older children who already understand dogs should not be a problem. However, cats should not be around in her new family.

You need a license for Perla – but getting one is no problem and we are happy to help. Perla is a really great and very special dog who will be a great companion in life for the right people.

She just needs the right chance🙏.
