The five-year-old male beagle is now at our shelter. His family has far too little time and too little space for him and so they have asked us for help to find Rudy a new family. A family who really has enough time for him and who will naturally accept him as a full family member.

Rudy is a really great and sweet little guy. He has lived with children and he has no problem with other dogs and probably not with cats either (we will of course test this properly). So he is definitely a really great family dog.

He has spent most of his time outside on the patio and of course needs to learn how to live and behave in the house or apartment again. But with the right guidance and a bit of time, he will get the hang of it very quickly.

Rudy is very people-oriented and loves contact and closeness. He has not yet had the opportunity to learn so much about life “out there” and so there are still one or two uncertainties that need to be worked on together. Rudy is therefore not a city dog for us at the moment, but should be allowed to live in a quieter residential area.

Otherwise, Rudy is a typical beagle – very friendly, sociable, curious (although still a little cautious at the moment), eager to run (and you have to be able to do him justice from now on!), intelligent, sometimes stubborn and of course quite “greedy”😉. All in all, a really great guy who now urgently needs a new and proper chance.

Rudy is already fully vaccinated. He will have a general check/blood sample and then be neutered too.

But now we are already looking for the right “beagle lovers” who really deserve this great guy.
