This is Ternum…
(December 2024)
This beautiful male setter was recently handed in to us at the shelter by his owner. Ternum turned eight years old in October – and he was simply no longer wanted. Ternum is a wonderful dog – but also a typical setter. He is incredibly people-orientated, cuddly, sensitive, sweet and affectionate – but outside he also shows his “second setter face” – that of the typical hunting dog. Then cats should definitely get out of the way very quickly.
At eight years old, Ternum is definitely not yet an “old dog”. He loves to be active, loves to move around, is curious and really attentive outdoors. He certainly hasn’t always had the best experiences in his life so far, and you can still tell sometimes. But as soon as he realises that you really mean well by him, he quickly gains confidence and opens up.
Ternum needs people who like to be active themselves, really have enough time for him, understand him and his breed and naturally accept him as a full member of the family. Children would also be no problem at all if they can already behave in a dog-friendly manner. His family should live as close to nature as possible and definitely not in the centre of a big city.
Who will fall in love with this beautiful boy?
