Completely panic-stricken and distraught, we took this beautiful mongrel dog from the Perrera Natura Park some time ago. People, closeness and contact were a pure horror for him at first. But actually Timon wanted it this way. Completely understandable after everything he had probably been through. But step by step, he opened up more and more every day, gained trust and very carefully allowed himself to be close to people. And we can say that Timon has undergone an unbelievably great transformation in a really short time. And much faster than expected. In the meantime, he is really good at going for walks with some people he trusts, and he lets put on the harness in an exemplary manner.

Timon has probably understood by now that people can also be different . Nevertheless, it is very important that Timon comes to people who are experienced with dogs, who have calmness, patience and above all, time and who can lead him clearly, lovingly and consistently and continue to give him security. Another dog or dogs would be a great advantage, because Timon loves dogs more than anything. He is very much looking for contact and he has certainly lived together with other dogs in the past. Cats, however, are an absolute no-go. Then the hunting dog really comes out immediately and he goes into alert. We could imagine that Timon, who is about 2 1/2 – 3 years old, is a mix of Pointer, German Shorthair or Bracke. One thing is for sure – he is definitely a beautiful male. We hope very much that we will find the right people for him at short notice and that he will be able to arrive there properly – in his own family. We are sure that he will soon be a great companion.
