A few days ago we were able to take over the beautiful 2-year-old setter, together with her dog friend Kiara, to our animal shelter in Calvià. Her former family could no longer cope with the two dogs and asked us for urgent help.

Yumi is a simply adorable dog and she really wants to be close to her owner. She likes to be active and really enjoys activities together.

She has not shown any problems with other dogs so far – but cats should not be in her new family, as she has a hunting instinct due to her breed.

Yumi hasn’t had much luck in her life so far and has unfortunately been passed on a few times – but this was definitely never her fault, but only that of the people in question.

We are therefore desperate for Yumi to find a stable and responsible family who really have enough time for her and who will naturally take her in as a full family member.

Children should not really be a problem – but they should already be able to behave in a dog-friendly manner. That is what we expect.

Gentle, friendly, people-oriented, eager to learn, playful, with lots of energy, but also strong-willed – that’s how you could describe Yumi. With Yumi, the right people will have a really great companion for life at their side.

Of course, we would be delighted if Yumi’s new home offered her a garden – but she could certainly also live in an apartment if her needs are really met.
However, a location close to nature is important, as for us she is definitely not a pure city dog.

Yumi is already fully vaccinated, spayed and tested negative for leishmaniasis – so absolutely ready for her own “forever family” …
