The next sad emergency has arrived with us 😔❤️ … This is TACO – and Taco is twelve years old. There is hardly anything worse than old helpless dogs that end up in an animal shelter 😔.

Of course, Taco doesn’t understand the world anymore – even if he didn’t have the best life before. The wonderful dog senior has been living alone on a finca for a long time and has been more or less cared for there. No one has lived there with him anymore. Taco is an absolute dream dog senior.

Incredibly people-oriented and affectionate, incredibly loving, compatible with his conspecifics and also without problems in relation to cats – simply an absolutely faithful soul. A dog who, except for some really nice years in between, just had a lot of bad luck in his life – and he definitely couldn’t help it.

We all know how incredibly hard it is for big old dogs to find a home again – but we also know that you should never give up hope. So now we really want to try everything to find a sanctuary (also a permanent foster home is welcome, with medical costs covered by us). A warm and safe place with dear, quiet people – with a garden (because he always had it available) – who simply have a very big heart, especially for the “great old ones” 🙏❤️
