What is a volunteer / voluntario?

Do you like animals, have free time, and enjoy spending it well? Then you are the ideal volunteer. Come to our animal shelter and help in any way you can and enjoy. There are various possibilities.

• Walking dogs: They need to walk to relax and momentarily forget that they don’t have a family that offers long walks.
• Cleaning and organizing specific areas of the animal shelter: Cat enclosures, cat colonies, changing their blankets, etc.
• Playing with the cats or kittens.
• Accompanying our sick animals and those who haven’t gained much trust yet.
• Assisting in organizing and carrying out our special events (open house day at the animal shelter or our big harbor festival in Puerto Portals). Helping with setting up sales booths and selling items. Gathering gifts for the raffle and much more.

What would you have to do?

Come to the animal shelter and spend a pleasant moment getting acquainted. We will show you how you can help us. There is no obligation, but we are confident that you will enjoy it and come back regularly.
