SOS Animal Association: a non-profit association founded in 1995 with the aim of helping suffering animals in Majorca and in collaboration with the Calvià municipality, rescuing the majority of dogs and cats brought in by individuals and the municipal shelter.

For example rescuing numerous dogs and cats from unnecessary euthanasia as well as implementing birth control measures for feral cats in collaboration with the Calvià municipality, district veterinary clinics, and later with BALDEA (Federation of Animal Welfare Associations).

Allocation of funds for infrastructure expansion and proper care of animals. Recruiting more volunteer helpers and increasing membership numbers. Expanding the birth control campaign for stray cats and promoting knowledge about the behavior and needs of pets.

Simply adorable!

These enchanting dogs and cats are waiting to meet you and find a new family. Following them and, most importantly, actively sharing and reposting on social media gives the animals an even better chance of finding a quick adoption. It can be so easy to help!

So happy!

We are thrilled to announce that so many of our lovely animals have found in 25 years their forever homes! Thanks to the support and dedication of our amazing community, these animals now have a bright future ahead of them. We are incredibly grateful for all the adopters who opened their hearts and homes to these deserving pets. Together, we are making a difference in their lives. Let’s continue to spread the word and help more animals find their perfect match!

Please fight you little puppy!

This little puppy has just been brought to us.

About 1 – 2 days old, still with remains of the umbilical cord 😥. Fished out of a dust bin – wrapped into two garbage bags including residual rubbish😣. A man who had just arrived at his workplace (boat preparation) in Pt Andratx heard the squeaking coming from the rubbish bin. He searched through the rubbish and found the well-tied bin liner and the baby (of course they also looked for any further babies).

They freed the little one and then came straight to us at the animal shelter. The little puppy is totally hypothermic and dehydrated. It is now being examined at the Clinica Canis in Palma. We are praying that this little creature will get its chance 🙏🏻. Everything we can do we will do for it.

I’m going to hold back my opinion about the people who did this 😔.Sometimes it is incredibly difficult not to lose faith in humans 😪
