And another “big black one” in need – again with no chance, like many times s? – Hopefully not – !!!!

Duc is a really handsome and impressive Pastor Mallorquin male. He is about 8 – 9 years old and we were able to take him over recently from the Perrera to our shelter. First gray hairs are slowly showing up, but they really look good.  He landed in the Perrera in 2018 and he spent over 2 years in his kennel – an incredibly long and hard time; and nobody was really interested in him. We hope so much that this will change now. Of course, this long time shaped our Duc, definitely to be expected. Duc has remained a “giant baby” deep in his heart, but he is insecure and inexperienced in many situations. Therefore he needs dog-experienced people, without children, who can lead him consistently and who also wants to work with him. He doesn’t really have a problem with other dogs as long as they don’t bother him. However, he would rather like to be a single dog. Cats have no chance with him. Duc likes people and the contact with them. He needs a little time to trust and he doesn’t want to be pushed here either. He signals what it likes and what he does not. He loves exercise, walks and working together. Typically Pastor Mallorquin, the clever Duc of course also has a guard and protective instinct and he will definitely guard his property and his people. He is not suitable for a life in a flat. If you win his heart and his trust and if you are ready to work with him, you can find a great and definitely loyal companion in Duc. Please share – many thanks !!!
