This is Maya … ❤️

(April 2026)

The two-and-a-half-year-old mixed-breed dog has been with us in the animal shelter in Calvià for a few days now – and she already has an incredible Odyssey and really many bad experiences behind her. These include, among other things, two stays in the Perrera Son Reus and also other really bad private locations. Maya is a real victim of wrong decisions and the wrong people; one can clearly say that this dog did nothing wrong. But of course it is characterised by her past. She doesn’t know much, is often nervous and just can’t really handle many things.

But Maya is also a very special dog. If she has people at her side whom she trusts, then she is fully involved. Then she also comes to rest and shows herself very sweet and really very affectionate. Maya is looking for security, consistency, clarity and absolutely belonging. A dog that has had so much bad luck so far now of course deserves a lot of luck. Maya needs people who are willing to work with her and who take into account her history and under no circumstances immediately demand too much from her. She needs people who are patient with her and who really have enough time.

We wish her – since she was locked up a lot in her previous life (even in the tightest of spaces) – a quiet living environment and, if possible, a home with a garden. Despite everything she has experienced, Maya has not lost her trust in people and if you really get involved with her, you have a really great dog by your side – of course with joint work.

By the way, cats should not be in their new home under any circumstances. Regarding the handling of other dogs that has to be further worked on with her, because she simply did not have many opportunities for socialisation. But she is quite interested in and curious about other dogs.

We promised Maya that we will definitely find her the right people now – and hopefully we will find them very soon.

Love at first sight??

Are you interested in giving this wonderful dog finally a new home? If so, please send us an Email. We will then promptly get in touch with you.
