For us here at SOS there is definitely no better way to wish you all a Happy New Year. We can do so today with some incredibly great news. On the 2nd of january 2025 at 1 pm our BRAD was allowed to leave our shelter in Calvià – after an incredible three !!!! years. We can hardly believe it – but today it actually happened. There’s no better way to start a new year.

Marc has known our senior German shepherd mix (he turned ten in November last year) for a long time – because he has been coming to the shelter almost every Sunday to support us. There has always been a special bond with Brad – however, the living conditions just didn’t allow to really take him in. Especially with dogs like our Brad, the overall situation just has to be right – otherwise it won’t work. Now the time had come – and we had been working and planning together for a few weeks. Today at lunchtime, Marc and Brad set off for a life together – here on the island. Marc is going to take Brad in as a permanent foster home for good .

More than three years of perrera and animal shelter are coming to an end today – and we will only see our Brad again as a visitor. We are so incredibly happy about this turnaround in Brad’s life and about the chance Marc is giving him …

This year has definitely started really well – and it’s proving true once again. 💪  NEVER GIVE UP  💪
